With Animal Print Flats:
I got a question from Risa at Diva in the Midwest about what to pair with her animal print flats…so I thought I would share my suggestions with everyone here on the blog! I actually have a very similar pair, and here are my tips on showcasing these fab shoes:
1. Choose slim fit pants in a neutral color (either skinny or boot cut fit) or a dark rinse, slim fit jean. Wide leg pants don’t typically pair well with flats, at least if you are short like me!
2. For skirts, choose a style above the knee and fitted to avoid looking frumpy. There are some really cute, bright colored skirts in the stores right now.
3. I feel that animal prints always look best with one bright, punchy color on top. I prefer pinks and turquoise, but choose something that works well with your skin tone:
4. The trick to looking put together with any look is layering, so I always like a blazer or cardigan…for both warmth and style!
5. To pull it all together, add a belt in a metallic silver or white!
6. Don’t forget your jewels too! Keep it simple with a statement cocktail ring or bracelet:
