Last weekend I was flipping through the tv channels and came across a show on HGTV called “Rate My Space” that I really enjoyed. Check it out: Rate My Space. Well I decided the worst space that I have by far is my cubicle at work. Does anyone else feel the same way? I want to decorate it and make it fun and funky, but still organized and work appropriate. It is so dark and dreary with the grey walls and boring institutional elements, it needs some sprucing up. I mean, I spend over 40 hours a week in this space, shouldn’t it be enjoyable and cheery? So here is my cubicle now:

Do you have any great ideas on how to take my space from a 0 to a 10? Do you have a cubicle or office that looks great? I would love to post some pictures, so e-mail me at pinqueencity@gmail.com. How about some home-made goodies to the person who has the best office…voted on by the readers?

A blog after my own heart! (these are my favorite things as well). A piece of you might die inside, but I say commit to the grayness. Sans paint or bringing in your own funky upholstered chair (would they let you do that?) your options are limited my friend. From my cube to yours.. sympathy
Your cubicle is leaps and bounds ahead of mine!! What about adding a plant or maybe even a beta fish? One of my former coworkers acctually “wallpapered” one of her cubicle walls (I think she used wrapping paper) but that might be frowned upon depending on what kind of office you work in.
Is that a mini coffee maker? That’s so cute. It’s like an office/ dorm
My office isn’t very cute either. It has to stay relatively generic b/c I share an office with a manager at work. I am interested in changing my home office into something more girly though.
What line of work do you do? That way the readers can help based on how relaxed your industry is.
