Hot or Not: Socks with Heels?

Wearing socks, no matter whether ankle or knee high, with heels have been on and off the runway for years now. Recently, they seem to have popped back up everywhere and I still can’t seem to decide my feelings toward this trend. These popular Weardrobe gals seem to pull it off fabulously, but I am not sure I could do the same.

What do you guys think, hot or not?

    okay, i don’t know about ‘hot’, but i definitely think that this look can be cute when executed correctly.

    clueless is the first movie i saw in the theater with a friend, and the soundtrack was one of my first cds, so i can’t help but love this look!

    i remember wearing semi-sheer white knee-highs with black patent mary janes and a black velvet jumper with a shiny crop shirt under it in the 7th grade – it was my favorite outfit!

    I don’t like the ankle socks-with anything actually now that I think about it. But I do happen to think that knee highs with boots is pretty hot.

    That is hilarious! Clueless was one of my fave movies ever (of course) and I can remember my best friends and I (also in the 7th grade) dressing up in our argyle skirts, white knee socks and maryjanes to go see the movie. I might even be able to dig up some of the photos, teehee :)

    I think the socks worth with boots (like in picture 5) or if you’re really going for the Catholic schoolgirl look, but otherwise no thanks!
