The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

Well, I guess I will start with the good

LOOKEY what hubby and I got tonight for our Valentine’s Day present!!!!!

This made the bad soooo much better. I can’t wait to start playing with it! I took several photography courses in college, so hopefully I won’t have to brush up on my camera skills too much. Not only will we be able to get GREAT photos on our trip to Colorado next week, I can also start (hopefully) taking MUCH better photos for the blog! So on to the BAD

I got stuck in a meeting at work until after 6:00 and missed my hair appointment. There was no clock in the conference room we were in and some heated discussions, so the thought of checking the time completely slipped my mind. I am so disapointed, I was looking forward to getting a new style and just having a few minutes to relax! Aunt Cathy is trying to find some time to fit me in before we leave next week, but it will probably be another 2 weeks before I can get my “hair did.”

I finally have a photo of my wonderful hair stylist/aunt though, so I thought I would show you just how fun she and her children are!

Now on to the ugly…I have Pink Eye! My eye is red, swollen, watering and hurting so much. I look like a freak, or as my coworker said, I look like my hubby hit me. I got some medical eye drops, so hopefully those will help and I won’t have to go to the doctor. Eek! Hope you gals (and guys?) had a better day than me. AH well, tomorrow is another day and luckily hubby took me out to Mexican (MY FAVORITE) to cheer me up after a long, hard day!

PS. In the next few weeks I am going to migrate the blog over to a new domain and hosting of my own so I can have more freedom with the design and editing, among other things. Any ideas for a good domain name??

Aww, my grandchild is so cute! Dont worry Coopie ,grammy will rescue you ( and Tillie) on Saturday and we will have so much fun next week. You will be so spoiled when Mommy and Daddy come home they wont be able to stand you!
