Work. Apparently wearing platforms to the office is quite shocking. Not only did EVERYONE comment on my heels, my boss started calling me Candy because he said these looked like stripper shoes! I think he is down in Human Resources as we speak (JK). Needless to say, these heels were NOT made for walking. I didn’t realize I had a meeting several blocks away from my building today and it took every ounce of concentration I had not to break my ankle on the sidewalks! The things we do for fashion. It was quite nice to be tall for a day!

    People at the office I used to work in would have died. Their fashion ideas all came from walmart in the 80s. Wear your stripper heels proudly ;) I like them. I had my MIL tell me in new Orleans once that I shouldn’t stand on any corners or people would think I was working. I was wearing a black skirt slightly above the knee, black tights (opaque), knee high boots (not over the knee, right below) and a vneck sweater from banana republic. Really?!?! That’s what hookers wear these days?!?
