Where:

Work and retirement lunch for a coworker. What to do when your dress is too short for work? Throw on some skinny pants and turn it into a tunic! Truthfully I was just too darn lazy to change so I took a chance on wearing this dress with pants. If it weren’t for the cap sleeves I would love this dress. Who was the not so bright designer who invented the cap sleeve? I mean it hits the biggest part of a woman’s arm and makes it look larger than life! Even though I hate the sleeves, I can’t resist a batik printed dress complete with pockets.

What:

Pants – Express

Heels – Paris Hilton via heels.com

Belt – Thrifted

Sunnies – Target

Anyone have big labor day weekend plans? We are off to see some Tiger football (of course!)

    I hate the cap sleeve!! But the one on this dress doesn’t seem so bad because it’s looser and higher? Anyway, I totally think the cap sleeve should be abolished.

    I totally do this all the time! A lot of my shirt/ dresses are just too short for my comfort level. But they are so awesome with a pair of skinny jeans!
