Most of this weekend was spent in pajamas. I would like to say it was because of the weather, but honestly I just didn’t feel like getting dressed and out of the house. Sometimes you just need that kind of weekend, ya know? What I did do was watch Groundhog Day (among other things) for the first time during my pajama induced couch coma. Can you believe I have never seen it before? My life has felt a little like Bill Murray’s in the movie lately. The same thing over, and over, and over again. Same people, same problems, yet somehow instead of being on the same day, time keeps passing me by. Anyone else feel this way? What do you do to break the rut?

    When I’m in a rut, I force myself to tackle a house project I’ve been meaning to do. It might be cleaning out my closet or it might be sewing a shower curtain or just trying a new recipe I pinned on pinterest, but when I’m done I feel so accomplished.
