{Top and Pant – The Limited; Bracelet – Forever21; Necklace – Baublebar; Heels – Vince Camuto}
It took me a while to try out the peplum trend that has been all the rage this season (for those of you who don’t know, a peplum is that little ruffle or kick pleat around the waist of a top or dress). After collecting a few gift cards from The Limited, I decided to just go for it. Because trends are easier to follow when you aren’t wasting your own hard earned money on them, right? Turns out peplums aren’t so bad after all. Not only do they help create a waist where there is not, they also make you look slimmer! Who knew? Apparently everyone but me.
Today I am linking up with Marionberry Style for her print mixing challenge!
Love this – so fun! The peplum looks great on you!
Hi there! Thanks for swinging by my blog and saying "hi", and I'm glad I found yours in return! This look is absolutely gorgeous – you have such great style!
Three cheers for stripes, red pants and cheetah print shoes! Ab fab!

Thanks, it\’s such a fun combination of color and print!
I think peplum is very classy and flattering! Growing up, I remember my mom having to attend formal events with my dad. I clearly rememeber this one outfit she had. It was a silk delicate floral pencil skirt with a matching peplum top. It was so chic!
Pretty outfit, pinque!. Oh this necklace!
Thank you Lili! I love how older styles come back around and am really starting to love the peplum trend!
Yeah….so I kinda love this outfit. Red and leopard look awesome together.
