StyleDiary: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

{Dress – Rene Derhy c/o European Wardrobe; Necklace – BaubleBar; Jacket – Forever21; Boots – Steve Madden Candence}

Lately my life has been a battle of the good, the bad and the ugly. The ugly quite obviously being my mangled finger. And though the past few weeks (months?) haven’t been filled with the best of news, a lot of good things have been happening too. First and foremost being that despite having limited use of my left hand, my husband has been AMAZING. Seriously the man deserves husband of the century. See those tights I am wearing? Well I certainly didn’t get those on single-handed. And rather than question my fashion choices, the man powered through and helped me make my way into the most complicated apparel I could choose. If that isn’t love, I don’t know what is. So while I didn’t have much opportunity to remember what I was thankful for on Thanksgiving, every day after has been a not so gentle reminder that despite the bad, there is a whole lot of good in my life.

    That dress is so cool! Sorry you've had some not-so-great stuff going on, but it's great you are trying to focus on the good! That always helps!

    2012 was off to a BAD start on New Years Day and has gone downhill from there! I am so ready to kiss 2012 goodbye and hope that 2013 brings better days for our family. And that my babys poor little finger heals properly!

  5. You're husband is so sweet and you are lucky. Don't you love being pampered? Consider that finger cut as a good thing. And that dress is so nice, I thought it was 2 piece.
