So You Wanna be a Fashion Blogger
So you want to be a fashion blogger (doesn’t everyone and their mom and their grandma these days)? You bought a kitschy domain name, perhaps one that ends in -ista, installed the ever popular wordpress and now you’re sitting there staring at the blank computer (probably a macbook) screen wondering what to do next. How about start by filling your closet with all the necessities to be the top fashion blogger in the world, earning lots of dough (because everyone knows bloggers rake it in) with these must have items for the up and coming fashion blogger. And go ahead and cut me some slack, ’cause I’m poking a little fun at myself with this too. What fun is blogging if you can’t have a little fun at your own expense!?
1} The big and bold Michael Kors men’s watch is the must-have in any first time fashion blogger’s jewelry arsenal. Arm parties unite!
2} It’s a sneaker! It’s a wedge! It’s the footwear every blogger loves to hate. Or is it hates to love?
3} Nothing screams southern fashion blogger like wearing three big initials around your neck. The bigger, the better.
4} You aren’t a true fashion blogger until Mrs. Minkoff herself sends you a mini mac. And I don’t mean the computer or the cheeseburger.
5} If Blair Eadie has a leopard trench, then so should you. And everyone else.
6} The trusty leather skinny jean screams “urban fashion blogger don’t care.”
7} Can’t instagram all those fabulous five star or #whole30 meals without the latest fashion-forward iPhone case! Extra points for leopard or polka dots.
8} Chambray, just a pretty name for jean shirt. Goes with everything and nothing at the same time.
9} The trend that’s sweeping the nation, the bubble necklace. If you don’t already own, you probably don’t have a pulse.
10} Hunter Boots – making rain more fun for fashion bloggers since 2007.
I never ever go a day without wearing my MK watch!

So funny. I just started blogging and currently only have a chambray shirt, but I've been reading fashion blogs daily for approximately six years now so I totally get this post. I've seen all these things so many times! Just gives me a reason to go shopping, haha!
