LifeStyle: Win 2 Tickets to Runway for the Ballet
Anyone who has known me for a long time will tell you I have had two passions my whole life: fashion and dance. My mom had me in dance school as soon as I could walk and I spent the next 15+ years practicing and performing. Even in college I managed to fit a few electives in my hectic schedule just so I could take tap. And while I always wanted to pursue professional dance, I wasn’t born with a natural ballerina body. Now I get my fix with a combination of zumba, cardio dance and yoga, but those years in dance and the bonds I formed will forever be close to my heart.
As you can imagine, I was ecstatic when the folks at the NC Dance Theatre reached out and invited me to attend the sixth annual Runway for the Ballet. Not only does the event combine fashion and dance in a beautiful blend of function and form, but the proceeds from ticket sales go to support other young boys and girls who dream of a future in dance. I am happy to share that the NC Dance Theatre has also offered to give away two tickets to readers of PinQue Blog. I think this show sounds so interesting! I danced until HS and then took classes in college and even as an adult, so I'm always interested in anything dance related.
