And the winner is:

The pink J. Crew dress
Last minute decision to change from the BR Silk dress and I am so glad I did. Reasons I chose the pink dress:
1. It was crazy hot and humid yesterday, and silk dresses don’t pair well with hot and humid!
2. I had to sit in the car for 2 hours to get to the wedding and this dress was wrinkle free.
3. I felt like the silk dress was just a tad too dressy for this event…and I was right.
So without further ado, here is my wedding recap:

I kept it pretty simple with silver accessories and shoes. Actually hubby picked out the shoes! No idea where the shoes are from, I wore them as a bridesmaid a few years ago. Bracelet is from F21 and earrings are Express.

Some friends from college, all in tres chic dresses. What can I say, my friends have style

This is my “little” sister in my sorority, although she has about a foot on me in height! You can’t really see, but there were these gorgeous paper lanterns and fabric draped from the ceiling that looked so pretty. I wish I would have taken more pics of the scenery, our friends did a great job!

Starting to look a little rough at this point, must be those things in our hands!

I didn’t get a great pic of the bride, but she was absolutely gorgeous and I loved her dress.

The bride’s sorority always sings to the bride at weddings, and man those girls can sing!

The groom’s (and hubby’s) fraternity also sings to the bride, and they CANNOT sing! Seriously, they could hardly remember the words to their own song. I did love when they did this at our wedding though

We also decided to show off our mad dancing skills. This is my favorite part of wedding receptions…well second to WEDDING CAKE!

The priest also decided to show off his mad dance skills. He was dropping it like it was hot all over the place!

Hubby also got caught me in the act of holding a baby…which if you know me, you will understand this one. Really I just wanted her polka dot footy pj’s. That is her daddy to the right of me and she is definitely thinking “Help me daddy, who is this crazy lady?!”
We had a wonderful time hanging out with all of our friends and the wedding was beautiful. Now for our anniversary this weekend and then another wedding the next!
What is your favorite part of a wedding?
Mine is watching the groom’s face when he first sees the bride. Most people watch the bride when she walks in, but I always love to see the groom get all teary eyed and grinning ear to ear
