While we were in CO, I finished my knit headband project! I think it turned out pretty cute, especially considering that I ended up making up my own pattern so it would look more like the one inspired by Whitney.

Can't wait to wear it!
I also recently made this blanket and booties for a new mommy friend of mine:

Now I need to find a new knit/crochet project to work on. Any suggestions?
I finally made it to the yarn store to pick up the right tools for my knit headband project. Here is my work in progress:

Knit Headband W.I.P.
This is my first time knitting in the round, and so far, so good. I think I am about 1/3 of the way done with the headband, then I have to crochet the flower to attach. Hopefully I will have this finished before we head to Colorado next week! I am also working on an up and coming post about ski fashions that may feature the hubby
By the way, everyone give my MOM a shout out, she is now an avid blog reader!

Knit Headband
While watching The City Monday night, I noticed Whitney wearing this knit headband I thought was really fun and funky. So, while this headband is a little quirky, for some reason I fell in love with it. It was apparently an Anthropologie item, but I can’t seem to find it on their website, so I think this will be my next knit/crochet creation. We are headed to Colorado in a few weeks and I am sure it will come in handy to keep me warm and stylish while we are there!
I found this pattern at LionBrand for free, so I might just crochet my own flower as an addition. Looks like a trip to the craft store is in order

What do you think? Would you wear Whitney’s headband?
