I am assuming by now you have all heard about the Anna Sui collaboration for Target…but have you seen the beautiful designs? I loveth almost everything, too bad most of it is sold out online. The price points are a little high for Target, but all of the items seem to have good reviews so far and I am hoping the fabrics are a little higher quality than average Target quality collaborations. I mean it is Anna Sui, right?!?I might make a little trip to Target tomorrow to see if I can find anything left, since Charlotteans don’t seem to care as much about these designer collaborations as I do. There always seems to be a stock of items from these collaborations in my local stores when they are sold out online. Here are some of my choices, hoping I can find at least one or two in store (HELLO Metallic Multicolor Dress and the Blue Jacquard Dress!!!!! (Hear me Target, wanna send one my way??):
Tulle Swiss Dot Top – $29.99
Metallic Jacquard Dress – $59.99 (How cute would this be for date night?)
Herringbone Dress – $59.99
Floral Metallic Jacquard Dress (I DIE, I WANT, anyone want to mail me one??) – $44.99
Silk Wrap Dress – $59.99

Do you like the new Anna Sui for Target collaboration? Who else would you like to see in a design for all collaboration at Target?
Ever since my mom (aka Fashionistamama) gave me this spoon ring when I was in Elementary School, I have had a love for spoon related baubles:

I wore this ring every.single.day for more than 10 years (hence its destroyed appearance), so imagine my excitement when I found Goorsend Jewelry on Etsy who sells an abundance of flatware jewelry.
Not only are these items beautiful, but they are tres affordable! Most items are under $20. I am thinking about this ring to replace my much loved vintage ring from my mom:
The designer/architect in me has fallen in l.o.v.e with these beauties. Check ‘em out for yourself and let me know what you think!
The new Alexander McQueen line for Target made its way into stores recently…here are a few of my faves:
You can own a piece from this collection too, for free! LUCKY Mag is giving away a printed strapless dress and studded jacket to one lucky girl…enter here for your chance to win.
Did anyone else watch the SAG awards for the fashion last night? I never really care about the awards themselves, but I love seeing all the beautifully (and not so beautifully) designed dressed and jewelry on the red carpet. So here are a few of my favorites, and some of my not so favorites:
Teri Hatcher in Monique Lhuillier:

Teri Hatcher in Monique Lhuillier
Let me start by saying I LOVE this dress, but not on her! The dress is too large for her frail frame and she looks like she is swimming in it. Definitely did not do justice to Monqiue Lhuillier’s beautiful architectural design. I think I could have done without the belt, but this dress was by far my favorite of the night.
America Ferrara inVera Wang:

America Ferrara in Vera Wang
Can you really go wrong with Vera Wang? Her designs have such beautiful flowing lines and I thought America Ferrara looked great in this nude, flowing dress. The hair, the makeup, and the jewelry all compliment the Vera Wang design and add a hint of glamour to a relatively understated design.
Kate Winslet in Narcisco Rodriguez:

This royal blue Narcisco Rodriguez design is so elegant and compliments Kate Winslet’s curvy body and porcelain skin perfectly. Simple, under-stated, yet oh so beautiful.
Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire) in Marchesa:

This lavender, Grecian style is amazing and really stands out again Pinto’s dark skin and hair. I think this is a style I could actually pull off, not that I would ever get a chance to attend an awards show, but I can dream, right?
Angeline Jolie in Max Azria (courtesy of JustJared.com):

Angelina Jolie in Max Azria
Just because it is the SAG awards doesn’t mean you have to wear a saggy dress! This style does nothing for her and the color is so blah. Come on Angelina, you might be a husband stealer, but can’t you do better than this?
Christina Applegate in Emanuel Ungaro:

- Christina Applegate in Emanuel Ungaro
Don’t get me wrong, I still think Christina Applegate looks great in this Kelly Green Emanuel Ungaro number, but I am undecided on the design of the dress (and that long necklace). Again, why all the “Saggy” dress designs? They are not flattering to a woman’s figure at all! This style just looks ill-fitting and doesn’t do much for me.
Emily Blunt in Pamella Roland

Emily Blunt in Pamella Roland
Prom circa 1997 anyone? Sorry, but this is just a hot mess. The dress, the color, the hair, the makeup (or lack thereof), Emily Blunt looks like she just stepped off her spaceship! Ick!
And last but not least,
Marisa Tomei in Elie Saab

This dress looked fabulous from the front, but then Marisa Tomei turned around and revealed this:

TOO MANY RUFFLES! The color and style of the dress is amazing, but I cannot get past these awful ruffles that look like an afterthought. And honey, it’s an awards show, pump up the makeup and glam. Her makeup looks like everyday makeup instead of a glamorous, night out on the town.
So what do you think? Which designs were your favorites?

These Emilio Pucci perfume bottles are GORGEOUS, don’t you think? I love the signature Pucci geometric prints, and who cares what the perfume smells like, the bottles would make a stylish edition to your dressing table or dresser.
With hints of amaretto, jasmine, narcissus, and orange blossom, I am sure the fragrance is just as great as it’s signature bottle. Pick up your bottle today at Sephora or www.sephora.com starting at $55 and get free shipping on orders over $40. How can you resist this iconic print?
