Would that be Bassness or Badassness, because Blair’s styling was pretty Badassness last night! This was some of my favorite styling so far this season, and no Herve Leger bandage dresses anywhere in sight, Hallelujah. I must say my favorite look was Blair at Chuck’s bar opening, I die for the flapper look. Could be that whole ex-Charlestonian, former tap-dancer thing I got going on. Gossip Girl: Reversals of Fortune

Unless you happened to be hiding under a rock last night, I am assuming your eyes were glued to your television set to watch the season three premiere of Gossip Girl. While the episode didn’t totally wow me (what is with Serena’s dad? Did I miss some important detail?) per usual the fashion styling totally reeled me in.

My favorite look from Serena was this Notte by Marchesa gown worn at the polo match in the Hamptons. While this gown paired with the Coach Trixie wedges was gorgeous, it is not something I can rush out and purchase, nor do I have anywhere to wear it! So I have created the look for less for us non-Upper East Siders.

Blair’s beautiful Burberry Jacquard shirt dress immediately caught my eye. After much searching, I found a few work appropriate shirt dresses that would be great paired with a wide belt and oxfords for work inspired by Blair’s look.

Burberry Jacquard Shirtdress retails for upwards of $1,200 and Michael Perry shoes ring in at $324. Both are difficult to purchase online.

Is it just me or is this the same dress?

One is on sale at Tulle for $27.20, the other is priced at $67.99 at ModCloth…Don’t get me wrong, I love me some ModCloth, but I also love my cash in my wallet!

Also, the skirt seen on blogger Jessica Schroeder from WhatIWore is on sale at Tulle for $22 if you are interested! I might purchase the khaki one!

I just love this graphic print Alexander McQueen dress Camilla Belle sported to the movie premiere for Push. With the Jimmy Choo Sandals, David Yurman jewels, and Swarovski clutch, this outfit would cost a regular ‘ole fashionista a fortune!
