Can someone please buy this gorgeous coat from ModCloth?!? While you’re at it make sure to pick up this awesome belt to go with:
Just because I am on clothes shopping restriction doesn’t mean you have to be!
My hubby, dog AND cat are snoring! Okay not really, but they do snore in unison. Since Hurricane Ida has blessed us with her not so beautiful presence, the Queen City is inundated with heavy rains, 25 mph winds and rapidly decreasing temperatures. I sure could use these right about now (or yesterday!):
I WANT…no. no. no. I NEED. NEED. NEED. these, right?
Must determine how to ‘get away’ with these in a professional setting. I am pretty positive my director would not be pleased with my choice of hot pink footwear!
As most of you know, while I will make an occasional purchase at Old Navy, I am definitely not their biggest fan. After perusing their new fall inventory online, my faith in Old Navy is renewed. Several great items caught my eye, and best of all they are all super affordable and make great classic pieces for fall:
Hot Pink Funnel Neck Coat – $89.50
Classic Belted Trench Coat – $59.50
Striped Wide Neck Tee – $15.00
Shawl Collar Cardigan – $29.50
Cowl Neck Sweater Dress – $36.50
Even better, get 15% off a $75 purchase with offer code ONPLUS15. Happy Shopping!
Several weeks ago I get a frantic phone call from my mom asking if I want to go to Nashville. Um, sure…but why? Apparently my mom (otherwise known as Fashionistamama) won a trip to Nashville for the weekend for a backyard barbeque and concert with Keith Urban! Needless to say, she didn’t have to ask twice and that weekend is in 2 days!! I can’t say I am a HUGE country music fan like most of my family, but I do like Keith Urban and Sugarland is opening up for him. Seriously, who can pass up an all expenses paid trip to meet a celebrity and spend the weekend hanging out with your mom? Well, unless unlike me you don’t like your mom…or celebrities, which I happen to love both.
So my question is, what does one wear to meet a rather good looking, award-winning country music star? I am pretty sure something resembling cowboy boots on my feet are a necessity, but I NEED a cute dress to wear with them
Hubby just loves it when I say I NEED new clothes! Here are a few things I am eyeballing, unfortunately I might be relinquished to Anthropologie since we are leaving in two days.
I got these suede boots from Nine West’s new Vintage America collection not too long ago, and this seems like the perfect opportunity to wear off their new-ness:
What I REALLY want is one of the cute frocks from ModCloth, but I don’t have enough time for shipping
This one doesn’t really mesh with my boots, but oh boy is it perfect for the ‘backyard barbeque’ with Keith (were on a first name basis, after all):
Lookout, Cookout Dress from ModCloth ~ $57.99
This would totally be “THE dress” if I could get it in time. Why didn’t I think about this earlier? Oh yeah, I guess we did have a lot going on with the move.
Country Roads Dress from ModCloth ~ $49.99
Even the names of these frocks are uber-appropriate for the event:
Potluck Picnic Dress from ModCloth ~ $47.99
Suede boots and plaid? No better match:
The Rockwell Frock from ModCloth~ $49.99
If I had a lot of money, I am pretty sure it would all go towards dresses from ModCloth!
Antique Trellis Dress in Weekday from ModCloth ~ $59.99
Stay tuned to see what I ACTUALLY purchase after my trip to the mall tonight!
I need to learn to be more like this:
3 Anti Shopping Mantras
I was doing really great until I just went crazy at Tulle (who can resist a crazy sale AND 35% off?!?) and now of course I am looking to see what else I can find from my other fave stores…darn that “shopping momentum effect”
