While everyone else is buzzing about the collaboration between H&M and Jimmy Choo, I am just plain mad. You hear that H&M? MAD, ANGRY, PERTURBED!! Seriously H&M, first you taunt me with your beautiful, affordable items all over the glossy pages of fashion magazines and the Internet, and now this!? Friggin’ Jimmy Choo?!?! Not only can I NOT order items from the pages of your website, whereas eight other COUNTRIES seem to be able to, but the closest store is over 300 miles away in GEORGIA. How in the heck does the state of Georgia warrant having FOUR, count them, FOUR H&M stores and the states of both North and South Carolina can’t even get one measly little store? I can assure you that the Queen City’s population is plenty enough to support an H&M, so where is it??? Ever heard of SouthPark? Or perhaps Uptown Charlotte…we need more retail there!

This week is gonna be pretty hectic with two public meetings Tues. and Thurs. evenings, so if I am MIA you’ll know why!
Who picks the hottest day of the year to run a 5K? Me! It was already pushing 90 and so humid by 7:00 a.m.
When:

Summer Breeze 5K, Freedom Park, hittin’ up the Farmer’s Market and Great Harvest and breakfast at Einstein Bros. Bagels (my fave!) The run was great, I ran the whole 3.1 and while I came in at 32 minutes instead of under 30, I am proud to say I finished strong and I will keep running and hopefully beat my goal time!
