LifeStyle: June Gloom

{Beautiful La Jolla, CA. Husband and I have decided we will retire here one day. And own a pet seal or sea lion.}

June is coming to a close this weekend and I cannot believe it. It’s been a crazy, busy, hectic, stressful month (as if you couldn’t tell from my lack of posting) but it’s also been really good. Things kicked off with my anniversary, a trip to San Diego, then a ridiculously insane work schedule the past two weeks. I am not even sure what day it is at this point. All that to say, thanks for sticking with me through the radio silence. I promise I’ll be back in no time, but sometimes it’s good to take a step back from the PC and enjoy life. Real life, not just the one you see on Twitter and Instagram. July is looking to be equally as insane, but hopefully somewhere in between it all I can find some balance and get back in the blogging game. It’s about time to switch things up a bit anyways right?!

And on that note, a gentle reminder that beloved Google Reader officially shuts down Monday, July 1st. If you currently subscribe through Reader, I would love to suggest Feedly or Bloglovin’ as an equally awesome alternative to continue reading. With one quick click, Feedly automatically transfers all of your subscriptions from Google Reader and their iPhone and iPad apps are pretty stellar. Might I say I like it better?

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

    The pics are beautiful – glad you were able to get away for a nice trip! It's sad how hectic the summer is when we get older – it's supposed to be a time to chill and relax and I have done no such things so far… haha

    Linda March 17, 2013 2:39 pm Feedly is making it alomst too easy should I be worried? I merely had to allow it to access my Google feeds and poof! they were there. They claim it will be a seamless change once Reader goes away.
